discount travel reservations, flight reservations With the price of gas coming down, I wonder if the airlines will be offering discount travel reservations in the near future. I'd love to hop on a plane and be in San Diego or Las Vegas in less than an hour, but lately, I've been driving to these destinations because there have been no discount travel reservations, and it's been a lot cheaper to drive than fly. I'm sure I'm not alone in my wish that there would be some air fare sales soon. Spending the whole summer in Phoenix was long and dull, and it was such a temptation to make flight reservations to cooler San Diego was strong. However, we bit the bullet and drove over there a few times. The beaches this year weren't as crowded as they usually are, certainly the result of high fuel prices and the sinking economy. While it was great to enjoy uncrowded beaches, suffering through this really tough economy to have peace at the beach is too high a price for all of us to pay.
