Since we have only a short time for this trip, we will be staying in Madrid. We have also made online car reservations because we will be in one city. Both of us love to visit museums and we plan to spend a lot of time in the Prado. It is one of the most famous in the world and not only does it house Spanish works but also many works of famous Italian artists.
We have always traveled with guides on our past trips but this trip will be on our own and with a car, it will be possible to go where ever we wish. We have been studying the city of Madrid and the surrounding areas. There is so much to see and I am sure which ever direction we take will be a new and exciting adventure
