car reservations One of the most archaic laws in America has to be the age restriction on placing car reservations. Why is 25 the appropriate time to give people the ability to make car reservations. At 18, you are legally allowed to smoke and die for your country. At 21, you can drink and gamble. At 25, your insurance drops and you can place car reservations. Who thinks a 25 year old is any more mature then a 21 year old. I know plenty of people in their late twenties and early thirties who act like college freshman. I could understand a pricing premium to those under 25 when renting a car but come on.

There is nothing more annoying then flying home to see family and friends and not having a way to get around. It feels like being back in Junior High again, asking your parents for rides to a friend’s house. This happened to me just a few weeks ago which is why I am on this rant. I just want to hear the debate to why 25 years old is the age of pure responsibility and age where car reservations become the last step into being an adult.
