When my husband and I began planning our second honeymoon, we made sure to pay attention to every detail of our adventure. It seemed that we had plotted every intricacy of our trip, but we were mistaken. The one item on our agenda that we did not think we had to worry about was making car reservations from the airport we would be flying into. Unfortunately, when we landed and got off of the plane, we realized that most car rental places only worked via reservations.

Many of the car reservation centers were sold out or had a long lagging period before any of the cars would be available. We ended up having to wait for a really long time to get our car rental and by the time we left, we had missed almost a whole day of our trip. In the future, I will always make car reservations prior to traveling and I would recommend to all of my family members and friends to do the same. I am so very glad that our silly mistake of not making car reservations did not completely ruin our second honeymoon.
