My mom is taking a little rest and relaxation at the beginning of next month by flying up to where she grew up to see friends and family. She asked if I could make the car reservations for her last time we were on the phone because she was busy at work and I have a knack for finding deals. We were both impressed when I sweet talked my way into lowering a massive phone bill from going over the minutes. The first two people I talked to said they could only reduce the bill by “A” if I upgraded our plan. When my husband and I began planning our second honeymoon, we made sure to pay attention to every detail of our adventure. It seemed that we had plotted every intricacy of our trip, but we were mistaken. The one item on our agenda that we did not think we had to worry about was making car reservations from the airport we would be flying into. Unfortunately, when we landed and got off of the plane, we realized that most car rental places only worked via reservations.

Many of the car reservation centers were sold out or had a long lagging period before any of the cars would be available. We ended up having to wait for a really long time to get our car rental and by the time we left, we had missed almost a whole day of our trip. In the future, I will always make car reservations prior to traveling and I would recommend to all of my family members and friends to do the same. When I was recently looking for airline ticket reservations, I decided that this time I’d bypass the travel agent and go directly online to see what I could find. When a child is asked about what they want to be when they grow up, it is common for kids to pick everything from teacher to dinosaur. I have found that with determination and confidence any goal is achievable. However, receiving a little help does not hurt either.

Like most girls my age, I really look froward to spring break. Each of our college years, myself and my best friends take turns planning out our complete spring break for all of the girls. I am not a spoiled girl by any means. However, if there is something that I want and it is within reason, I will certainly treat myself. At a young age, most people develop a dream or desire they plan to accomplish at some point in their lives. My dream was realized at the age of seven when I saw a picture of Hawaii for the first time. I knew right away that at some point in my life I had to find a way to see it for myself. Since that moment I began to collect posters and books on travel to Hawaii, hoping that one day my dreams would come true.

The biggest surprise of my life happened to me on the day that I graduated High School. When I came home after the graduation ceremony and walked through the door, I could not believe my eyes. My whole house was decorated with Hawaiian decor, and sitting in front of my table setting was an envelope. When I opened it up, there were tickets for my whole family to travel to Hawaii!

Our travel to Hawaii could not have been more perfect. Not only did I finally get to travel to Hawaii, but best of all was that I was able to share the experience with my family. Of the many vacations I have taken and all of the different places I have been, Las Vegas is easily my favorite. Money had always been a very large source of stress for me. It never seemed as though I could keep up with my bills and basic needs, let alone do something really nice for myself. however, after a lot of hard work and persistent positivity, I finally got my finances in order and began saving. After a few years of working and saving vigorously, I had accumulated enough money to take a dream vacation with my husband. Between the two of us, we were able to travel to Spain.

I would never had guessed that I would ever travel to Spain, but I was more than ready for the adventure. It seemed as though time flew by and suddenly we were on our way to the airport. When we landed in Spain and drove to our hotel, I was in awe of the impressiveness of the architecture. When our cabbie pointed out the City Hall to us, our jaws nearly hit the floor. I had never seen a building so beautiful before.

I am so grateful that by working so hard and being patient, my husband and I were able to travel to Spain together. It was such a bonding experience for us and we truly earned it. Who would have ever guessed that our travel to Spain would surprise us with a lovely City Hall?

My husband and I have been together since we were freshmen in college. Every year since we met, we have taken a vacation together. Every year, we try to go somewhere much different than the previous adventure. Only one aspect of our trip remains the same, I am the one who books the car reservations. I always book our car reservations way ahead of time, because one year our trip was almost ruined due to a shortage of rental cars in the city we were visiting.

We were so worried when we approached the rental car desk in the airport and noticed the sign announcing that they were out of cars. Matters only became worse when every other rental was out as well. We did not know what to do, all we could think was that we should have booked our car reservations in advance. Since we did not know a single person in the city we were visiting and we did not want to call a cab, we just sat and pondered what to do. It was by some miracle that after about an hour there was a single car return. The car reservations worker came and found us out of the kindness of her heart and everything was ok.

I have a couple of good married friends that are planning a trip to Italy this coming September. Throughout my life, I have been to several countries around the world. every time I travel to Spain, I find myself completely inspired and amazed. I have to admit, that I often fantasize about returning, permanently to my favorite place of all time. My best friend of twenty five years was recently contemplating an over-seas vacation. I was beyond flattered when she called me for advice about her upcoming trip.

She gave me a list of about five different countries that she was considering visiting. I was extremely excited when she told me that Spain was at the top of her list! I immediately began gushing about all of the wonderful experiences I had enjoyed on my last travel to Spain. Needless to say, I had her convinced, well before our conversation ended! I am looking for flight reservations to the northwest for this coming March. I want to be sure my airline ticket reservations are the best deal possible. I will visit my one son who lives up there and it happens it will also be his birthday the time I will be there. I have some very good friends who are going to be celebrating their 20^th wedding anniversary in the early summer. They are going to travel to Hawaii to celebrate, since this is where they got married. Both her sisters, niece and nephew will be making the trip too. I was asked to travel to Hawaii to join them in this celebration, but unfortunately the dates don’t work out for me to take time off work. My husband and I love to travel. We have taken many trips to different parts of the world. After much searching online, we have decided to travel to Spain. Since we have only a short time for this trip, we will be staying in Madrid. We have also made online car reservations because we will be in one city. Both of us love to visit museums and we plan to spend a lot of time in the Prado. It is one of the most famous in the world and not only does it house Spanish works but also many works of famous Italian artists.

We have been studying the city of Madrid and the surrounding areas. There is so much to see and I am sure which ever direction we take will be a new and exciting adventure
